With companies making moving to the cloud a top priority in 2018, The Azure Cloud Experts led the San Diego chapter of the Global Azure Bootcamp 2018.
And believe it or not, we had a full seminar room on a warm and sunny Saturday afternoon.
The goal for the attendees? Broadening their knowledge of Azure and learning how to harness the full capabilities of the cloud.
On April 21, over 43 attendees joined TACE and Microsoft for our first joint Azure bootcamp.
The crowd showcased the diversity of San Diego’s active Azure community and included a mix of end-users, practitioners, and partners. The end-users were particularly interested in learning more about the leading Cloud provider and its applicability to their business.
TACE’s CTO Paul Scuba and CEO Kent Erickson led discussions on a full range of hot Azure topics — from migration and scaling, through to back-up and archiving.
TACE’s Paul Scuba walks attendees through Azure’s many exciting features.
Kent also led an exciting talk about Azure’s ground-breaking flexible usage model and why this shift will dramatically reduce wastage in the Cloud. He gave a full update on all the IaaS features – including a bevy of new products that has plans for Azure doubling its data center capacity every year for the next 4 years.
The San Diego event was part of the Global Azure Bootcamp 2018 — a worldwide one-day event where Azure communities simultaneously meet-up to learn and share. The April event saw meet-ups occur in 244 locations across 68 countries. As San Diego’s leading Azure provider, TACE was proud to bring enthusiasts and experts from across the city to learn and celebrate together.
Couldn’t make it to the April event? Or hungry for another session? Well, you’re in luck! We’ve got another exciting all-day Azure Education Summit coming on June 1st. Named Accelerate, this Summit will provide insight into topics such as Azure use cases, Big Data, artificial intelligence, security and more.
